LEOS: First Orbit is the foundational experience of the LEOS platform, giving users an authentic environment to explore satellite movement, orbital mechanics, and real-time telemetry.

Our Mission

To provide an accessible, realistic entry point into satellite operations and orbital mechanics. LEOS: First Orbit empowers students, educators, and space enthusiasts with a free, high-fidelity simulation that mirrors real-world orbital dynamics and satellite behavior.

With two custom-designed satellites, CRTS-1 and Bulldog, users can view realistic orbits, analyze telemetry data, and gain insights into how real-world satellite missions operate , all without the need for specialized hardware or advanced technical knowledge.

Users also have the option to explore the SDA (Space Domain Awareness) module within the simulation, allowing for a deeper connection to what is going on in space, and a Learner Center which will have everything from basic to advanced topics curated by our team of professionals and industry leaders.

First Orbit is the gateway to the full LEOS experience and provides a hands-on way to explore space technology, whether you're learning, teaching, or just curious.
